Ingredients

4 cups old fashioned rolled oats

1 cup almonds, sliced or roughly chopped

1 teaspoon fine grain sea salt

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ cup melted coconut oil

½ cup maple syrup (or honey)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup dried figs, diced

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

  2. Combine the oats, nuts, salt, and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, combine the coconut oil, maple syrup and vanilla. Add the liquid ingredients to the dry and mix well.

  • Store the granola in an airtight container. It should stay fresh for 1 to 2 weeks. Store in the refrigerator or freezer for a longer shelf life.
